Together, we can…

My name is Michael Taylor-Judd, and I’m running for Seattle City Council to bring a new vision and fresh ideas to a body that often seems to ignore the voices of neighborhoods and communities within our city.
I want this campaign to be different. I still believe that a grassroots, community-based
campaign can be run in this city. And I still believe that $25 donors are just as important as $250 donors who are just as important as couples who can write a check for $1400. Everyone’s vote counts equally in this election, and everyone’s voice deserves to be heard.
I won’t be able to run a people-powered campaign without you – the people. If you agree with me that any donation should count, not just the ones at the high donor level, then I need you to join my team now. If you agree that I should be spending my time listening to the issues and concerns that are important to you and your neighbors, instead of just “dialing for dollars,” then I need you to ask your friends and neighbors to come out to volunteer with you. Together we can be a team that brings fresh ideas and energy to City Hall!
If elected, I will be your neighborhood advocate for education and support for youth and family programs, affordable housing and better land use policies, and an efficient and equitable transportation system.
Take a look at our issues section to learn more about what I envision for Seattle’s bright future. Then, join our Facebook page and Twitter feed to keep up-to-date on my campaign for Seattle City Council, Position 1.
When I say this has to be a people-powered campaign, I sincerely mean it. I cannot win this without your help. It’s time we bring our shared neighborhood values back to City Hall.
Thanks for your support!
